In the past, interdisciplinary work was considered a skill, but now intergenerational work has transformed into a talent. First and foremost, no matter which generation we belong to, we must accept upfront that we are different from the other. This term, which emerged with the inclusion of Generation Z in the workplace for the first time, has recently been interpreted from many different perspectives as the reason for many successes or failures. In fact, the reason it is called a problem is the significant differences between Generation Z and the previous two generations. The generation we call the new generation, Generation Z, does not imitate the previous one. According to many authorities, this defines them as a separate generation. Therefore, we can say that the previous generations starting this conflict because Generation Z does not imitate them or take them as role models. So, how will we manage this discordance? Firstly, we can begin by characterizing this not as discordance but as diversity and variety. While experience and expertise are undeniable truths, many experiences can be gained more quickly than before. That is, if there is an optimized method available, we should not hesitate to use it in all aspects of work life. It is beneficial not to proceed with a traditional perspective by saying, "This is how we learned it." Systematic excessive and unpaid work being defined and normalized as “belonging” should not be viewed as nonconformity by the other generation. Of course, it is also beneficial for Generation Z to accept the techniques derived from these experiences, recognizing that working life is a journey. In summary, in the new world of work, if we acknowledge that each generation has different perspectives rather than repeating each other, we can transform intergenerational conflict into intergenerational transmission. Let's not forget that the new generation might take as a role model a 20-year-old newly famous singer in America rather than a director with 30 years of experience. Or, today we are reaching all this ground with the experience of a 30-year director.
